Medicana International Istanbul has an indoor area of 30,000 m2. It consists of two linked departments, including inpatient floors and outpatient floors. Our hospital was built with the capacity and technical features to allow for delivering service to patients coming from Istanbul, Thrace Region and Europe.
Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Cardiovascular Surgery Intensive Care Unit, Coronary Intensive Care Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit are designed using the most recent means of the technology and hospital architecture. Giving priority to the patient comfort, CIP, VIP and standard patient rooms as well as intensive care patient rooms are equipped with all systems required to carry out medical procedures and treatments.

Medicana International Istanbul Hospital has a capacity of XXX inpatient beds, 8 operating theaters, 26 observation beds, 17 medical and surgical intensive care beds, 9 CVS intensive care beds, 5 coronary intensive care beds and 10 incubators in neonatal intensive care unit in an indoor area of 30,000 m2.
Parking lot with capacity of 50 vehicles and free-of-charge valet parking service are also available.
Advanced Oncology Unit
Medicana International Istanbul Hospital meets a significant need of Istanbul and nearby cities, as it is the only center, where advanced cancer treatment is performed. Multi-Slice CT, PET-CT, MRI, Ultrasound and LINAC with capability of IMRT – all available in a private hospital for the first time in Istanbul -, conventional radiology and nuclear medicine imaging modalities and radiation oncology make Medicana International Istanbul Hospital the center of cancer treatment.
Cancerous cells can be precisely identified by state-of-the-art PET-CT scanner that is installed in nuclear medicine unit, which plays a prominent role in cancer treatment, and thus, the treatment targets only cancerous cells and healthy cells are not harmed.

Our Bone Marrow Transplantation Center allows patients from numerous cities of Turkey and many countries of the world turn over a new leaf for a second life in Istanbul since 2020. We are proud and happy to perform bone marrow transplantation as of 2020. We aim to fulfill bone marrow transplantation needs of many patients and maximize survival rates by our specialist doctors – each specialized in a relevant field-, expert healthcare personnel and patient rooms with 11 HEPA filters, which meet world standards.
Organ Transplantation Center

Our specialist cardiologists uses MitralClip for mitral regurgitations, Mitral Contour System (Carillon), Mitral Balloon Valvuloplasty (dilatation of mitral valve with balloon), performs EPS, Ablation and non-surgical replacement of aortic valve (TAVI), implants pacemakers, carry out coronary interventions (balloon angioplasty used to restore patency of coronary arteries by inserting a catheter into a blood vessel of groin, arm or wrist in a non-surgical procedure, stent implantation and other procedures) and treats all heart and valve diseases, arrhythmia, coronary artery diseases, heart valve diseases, heart failure and hypertension to help patients get well again.

Our In Vitro Fertilization Center delivers healthcare services with highest quality by experienced doctors, who use state-of-the-art medical infrastructure. Our In Vitro Fertilization Center uses most recent technology and treatment methods in the field of assisted reproductive techniques. The unit hosts renowned and reliable specialists, who have set the world alight in the field of reproductive medicine. Team of our In Vitro Fertilization Center consists of experienced gynecologists and obstetricians, Andrology (male infertility) specialists, embryologists, biologists and nurses.

Intensive Care Services
There are 14 beds in medical and surgical intensive care unit, 13 beds in CVS intensive care unit, 7 incubators in neonatal intensive care unit and 7 beds in Coronary intensive care unit at the hospital.
Our intensive care units have waiting, information and resting areas for family members along with a Mother-Baby Adaptation – Training Room, where mothers are informed.
The design is based on a special architecture for children both in playgrounds of pediatrics outpatient clinic and pediatric inpatient clinic.
Multi-functional Emergency Medicine
All services are organized to fulfill needs of inpatients and outpatients at Emergency Room of Medicana International Istanbul Hospital. One operating theater for conditions that require urgent surgical intervention and 7 close monitoring beds, including one isolation room, are present in the Emergency Room along with decontamination, resuscitation, urgent intervention, radiological imaging and observation rooms. Moreover, there are 2 red zone beds, 1 yellow zone bed, 1 CPR room and 1 imaging room.
